The Frantoio olive variety produces a highly stable extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality. It comes into production early and is highly productive. It is characterised by its fruity flavour, combining bitter and peppery notes. It has a mid-season flowering and its pollen is self-compatible. Resistant to verticillium.
