This plant is an evergreen shrub with a rounded habit and dense, greyish green evergreen foliage. It produces small white, lipped, nectar-rich flowers from spring until the arrival of autumn, and even all year round in some regions, although in smaller quantities. The leaves are small and closely resemble those of Rosmarinus.

It is unaffected by salty sea air or wind, which makes it perfect for coastal gardens in a Mediterranean climate. It grows quickly, is very easy to care for and lives for many years. Westringia fruticosa, or long-leaved Australian rosemary, is a fast-growing shrub that can reach 1.5 m in height and width in optimum conditions. It produces abundant tiny flowers in white tones, in the case of this variety, which in warm areas can last practically all year round.

Although they tend to have a rounded habit, they can be lightly pruned after flowering to maintain that shape.

[47,50,35
post-1441","plantas-ap","type-plantas-ap","status-publish","hentry","categorias-border-plants","categorias-hedge-plants","categorias-shrubs
["GET
