An aromatic plant with greyish foliage that contrasts with its blue-violet flowering. Its branches are woody at the base and more herbaceous when young, whitish in colour. It forms long inflorescences which, if pruned regularly, can extend flowering to 2 or 3 months. Its summer flowering is of great interest in low-maintenance gardening. In autumn the leaves take on highly ornamental tones. It has fast growth.<\/p>\n
Its flowers, which grow in heavily branched panicles and abundantly throughout the season from late spring to mid-autumn, are edible, with a sweet, slightly peppery flavour. In the garden, where it will stand out for its light appearance and abundant blue or violet flowering, it can be used to form shrub beds or in combination with other shrubs of similar habit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categorias":[38,35],"class_list":["post-1366","plantas-ap","type-plantas-ap","status-publish","hentry","categorias-herbs","categorias-shrubs"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/adrizas.preproducciondn.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/plantas-ap\/1366","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/adrizas.preproducciondn.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/plantas-ap"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/adrizas.preproducciondn.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/plantas-ap"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/adrizas.preproducciondn.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1366"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categorias","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/adrizas.preproducciondn.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categorias?post=1366"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
