This is a species with large leaves (up to 70 cm) of a glaucous green colour that grow in a rosette. It is a spineless plant with tough leaves, great hardiness and easy care, and it can grow to over a metre in height.<\/p>\n
One of the most attractive features of Agave species is the exuberant flowering<\/strong> they produce once generative development begins. Agave attenuata<\/em> produces a long raceme that can exceed several metres in height, in yellowish and greenish tones. This is why agave species are always thought to die after flowering, since they use up practically all their energy, putting their survival at risk.
